Alejandro Messing

Chairman HGC Capital
Alejandro has over 15 years of experience in real estate, construction, development, finance, and lending. He is the Chairman and Co-founder of HGC General Contractors Company.
He is also a managing partner of a variety of companies that own and manage rental properties since 2006. He has been a financial contractor and board member for several companies in the U.S. and offshore. Alejandro holds a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston and an Executive degree in Finance. He also holds several seminars and executive programs specializing in Options Volatility and Pricing, Technical Analysis for the Financial Markets, Financial Hedging and Marketing. At Habitat, Alex oversees the overall executive decisions with a key emphasis in land acquisitions, debt and equity structuring, cost accounting and finance.

Uri Ghelman

Chief Operating Officer
Al Uri has been working on design and construction since 1994. He is the COO and Co-founder of HGC General Contractors Company.
He started his professional career as a partner of a nationwide General Contractor in Venezuela, where he holds an architectural
degree. Moved to Houston in the year 2000 to manage an international stucco/specialty finish company. Then, worked for a recognized general contractor before HGC General Contractors was created. As a managing partner of HGC General Contractors, he oversees the design process from the conceptual stage up to permitting and supervises and coordinates the construction team.

Alfonso Ermoli

Managing Partner
Alfonso has more than 15 years’ experience in the construction business.
He is part of a business entrepreneurial family that has being building and managing construction projects for more than 50 years. His college background includes a Metallurgical Diploma from the Engineering faculty at Universidad Central de Venezuela, a University degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and a Master from Universita’ Degli Studi di Torino. He has direct experience in construction, finance, and management consulting.

Ned Alatin

Commercial Construction
Ned has over 10 years’ experience in real estate and construction management. Ned holds a BAs degree in Business and Marketing from Monmouth University and has over 60 academic hours in Design and real estate studies. He has been acting in leading roles such as CEO and CFO in large asset management and construction companies in the past 8 years.
Ned is the manager of the commercial division in HGC General Contractors. Variable projects have been performed under his management from ground up large scale commercial buildings to detailed retail space build outs and many civil work projects. Ned is fluent in 4 languages and is great in personal relations with customers and
HGC General Contractors.

Julio Urrunaga

Senior Project Manager
Julio has over 15 years in residential and commercial design. Graduated
as an Architect from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (Peru)
and a Master degree in Civil Engineer as Project and Construction
Management (University of Houston) has been involved in the
Construction management since 2015. His background and experience as
a Foreign Architect along with the field knowledge in the construction
give him a complete understanding of the whole process from design to
execution with both Architect and Contractor mind.

Maria Florencia Rowsey

VP – Finance
Florencia has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. She
is the Controller at Habitat Contraction and oversees all the accounting and
financial reporting activity. Florencia worked for a Big Four auditing
company and in the international and US Oil and Gas industry for over 10
years before moving into the construction and real estate industry. She has
a strong background in cost control, internal controls, financial reporting
and Sarbanes Oxley. Florencia also has an extensive experience in
international businesses and is completely fluent in English and Spanish.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a licensed CPA in Texas.

Phillip R. Livingston

VP Legal Affairs
Phillip has represented construction and construction services companies since 1985 across a broad spectrum of the industry throughout Texas. He worked with the founders of HGC for many years in various matters before becoming Habitat Contraction Outside General Counsel in 2015. He is actively involved in issues of formation, governance, operations and compliance for Habitat Contraction, as well as its partnership and venture projects. He brings 35 years of litigation, negotiation and mediation experience to the success of HGC and its partnerships and ventures. A Houston native, he obtained his undergraduate degree from The Colorado College and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. He is a member of the Texas and Houston Bar Associations and is a member of and involved in the Construction Law, Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of both bar associations
